The Discovery Drone Detection System is an advanced counter-drone solution designed for passive long-range detection and early warning of UAVs, safeguarding airspace against unauthorized drones.

Unlike conventional systems, Discovery operates without emitting signals, meaning it does not interfere with its surroundings. This non-intrusive design allows the system to accurately detect, classify, and track drones and their controllers over long distances, offering real-time early warning capabilities.

There are three Discovery models available, each differing only in detection range: the A1000 detects up to 2 km, the A2000 detects up to 5 km, and the A8000 detects up to 8 km under ideal weather conditions.

The system operates within an ultra-wideband frequency range from 300 MHz to 6 GHz, allowing it to scan and analyze protocols across a broad range of frequencies. This wide support ensures compatibility with more than 98% of drone models on the market. Additionally, the Discovery system functions through passive detection mode, meaning it only receives signals without transmitting. This makes it a non-intrusive solution, suitable for environments where there can be no interference with other electronic systems, such as airports, critical infrastructure, and entertainment venues.

The system includes blacklist/whitelist functionality, allowing you to manage drone activity more effectively. Known and authorized drones can be added to the whitelist, preventing unnecessary alarms, while unauthorized or suspicious drones are immediately flagged via the blacklist. 

Discovery is highly accurate, capable of pinpointing the exact location of both drones and their pilots within a 10-meter range (RMS), and the system’s directional accuracy stands at 3°, ensuring precise geolocation even in complex environments. As it is designed with scalability in mind, a single Discovery sensor (A8000 model) can detect drones up to 8 kilometers away, depending on the weather conditions. Multiple sensors can be networked to extend this range, providing extensive coverage over large areas and its 360° omnidirectional detection ensures that the system covers every angle without blind spots. Discovery is also easily integrated with other security systems, such as radars and jamming technologies, for an enhanced defense infrastructure.
