Usage with Protect 1206i
The Micro pointer antenna that comes with the
Protect 1206i, covers frequencies starting from 2GHz. This antenna allows reception starting from 800 MHz, which means that it can increase the detection distance for the following signals:
CDMA, low LTE, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900.
Usage with Protect 1207i
Paired with the Protect 1207i, the antenna will increase the detection distance at least 2 times! Compared to the standard rod antenna it will increase its directivity and help in pinpointing the source. Once the antenna points to the source, the signal level will be the highest.
Connect the antenna to the right red socket (remove the red rod antenna that comes with the device first) and you will be able to use the MWA-6 for the following channels:
LTE-L, GSM 900, GSM 1800, 3G, DECT, Wi-Fi, L/Bluetooth.
Connect the antenna to the left blue socket (remove the blue rod antenna that comes with the device first) and you will be able to increase the sensitivity of the 6th channel:
LTE-h, Wi-Fi-h, Mi-Max.
When used like this, the sensitivity will increase and the bar graphs may show full lighting. Because of that, the Attenuator function will be of help to you during the pinpointing of the source.
